To protect an item from damage:

*Remove jewellery when cleaning

*Avoid exposing HARTLEY jewellery to moisture, water or chemicals, oils, makeup, sprays, hair and skin care products and perfumes as this will damage or tarnish the jewellery.

* Apply makeup, sprays prior to wearing HARTLEY jewellery



We hope you are satisfied with your purchase and love wearing HARTLEY pieces; however whilst we try our utmost best to make sure what we send you is exactly what you want, we understand that sometimes an item may not be as described, be damaged or faulty. In these circumstances, we can offer you a refund or replace the item if you so wish. Please note that only full priced items can be refunded. There are no returns, exchanges or refunds for sale items. Please note that all returns are subject to inspection and approval by us before a refund or replacement is issued.

To make sure we can help you as quickly as possible, we ask that you please contact us within 7 days of receiving your purchase via our contact page. We will require proof of purchase and request that any items are returned with original packaging. We recommend that you use registered post for any returns to HARTLEY as any returned item that does not reach HARTLEY will not be issued a refund or replacement.


Please be aware that HARTLEY is not responsible for items lost, stolen or damaged during transit. Please also be aware that HARTLEY is not responsible for the cost of return shipping. We will however pay for shipping in the event the error is made by us.


Instances in which goods are not faulty or defective include:

* Handling which damages the item

* Natural wear and tear from use

* Plating wearing off from use or oxidization


Please understand that we cannot accept returns or refunds for items simply where there is a change of mind.
